U.S. Military Veteran Headstone With American Flag Etching

Pictured here is an upright granite monument that honors a veteran of the United States Air Force. This veterans grave marker was designed with an etching of an American flag for Samuel C. Carothers. Etched below the flag at the top and above his name is "CMSGT USAF" which stands for Chief Master Sergeant United States Air Force. He served in the Vietnam War and the Persian Gulf War. Samuel was born on February 19, 1938 and passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2006. He was laid to rest in Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Ellwood City, PA.
